The Charleston Music Hall will continue their "Women &..." series with "Women & Wonder: A Tribute to Stevie Wonder" on Saturday, September 28th at 8 pm.
The series is the brainchild of local musicians Lindsay Holler and Hazel Ketchum who thought it would be interesting to have women interpret the songs of Tom Waits back in 2015. It was a successful evening, so they decided to keep the series rolling through 2016, 2017, and 2018 with Women & Young, Women & Bowie, Women & Dylan, Women & Radiohead, Women & The Rolling Stones, Women & Leonard Cohen, Women & Gram Parsons, Women & Cooke, Dudes & Dolly, Women & The Dead, Women & Petty, Women & The Beatles, Guys & Gillian, and Women & Zeppelin, and Women & Springsteen.
The September show will include diverse line up of singers ranging in age from 18 to 63. The evening will consist of two different bands backing the women with two sets full of your favorite Stevie Wonder hits.
