Outside magazine recently included Charleston in its list of the 12 Best Places to Live in 2019 - with a focus on cities that have a plethora of outdoor activities to enjoy. The publication said the list features "America’s new adventure capitals."
The magazine, which dubbed Charleston "the Watery Wonderland," claimed our "stereotypical resident" was "the preppy cocktail connoisseur with a year-round tan who divides time between surfing, paddleboarding, and hunting waterfowl."
A handful of local hot spots and businesses received shout-outs in the piece: Commonhouse Aleworks, Chico Feo, Park Circle, Coastal Expeditions, and more.
