The arts scene in Lake City, SC continues to grow beyond the popular ArtFields event, a multi-day art exhibition and competition. The city will close out the summer with two new exhibitions at TRAX and the Jones-Carter Gallery.
Here's a look at each of the Lake City featured artists:
- At TRAX Visual Art Center
- Sculptor Ryan Lytle of Hampton, VA exhibiting “Animalia: Needle Felted Works By Ryan Lytle”; also sculpture category winner at ArtFields 2019
- At Jones-Carter Gallery
- Painter Rafael Barros of Miami, FL exhibiting “Not All Fun And Games”
These exhibitions are free and open to the public starting Friday, August 23rd and will run through October 19th. The opening reception will take place on August 23rd from 6 pm - 8 pm and both artists will be present.
