Sweet Lulu’s Bakery Raising Money for World Central Kitchen
Sweet Lulu’s Bakery, Cocktail Caravan & Pedal Pub is offering the community two opportunities to help support those in the Bahamas that are suffering after Hurricane Dorian. They will be donating proceeds from t-shirts sales and local delivery to the World Central Kitchen. Chef Jose Andres, who created the organization, was last week on the ground in the Bahamas preparing to feed the residents while Dorian was ravaging the country.
The local business is selling their two t-shirts – the “Hello Cupcake” and the “Will Brake For Cake” – for $25 each. Five dollars covers shipping within the U.S. while the remaining $20 will be donated to the World Central Kitchen.
During the month of September, for every local delivery through the end of 2019, Sweet Lulu’s will donate 10% of gross delivery sales to the organization.
