Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to Host Brewer's Ball on October 3rd

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will celebrate the 8th class of young professional honorees at their annual Brewer’s Ball, on Thursday, October 3rd at Founder's Hall in Charles Towne Landing.

Guests will be treated to an evening of craft beers from the local brewers, food samplings from local restaurants, live music, auctions featuring incredible prizes, and more. Tasting stations from places like Edmund's Oast Brewing Co., Ghost Monkey Brewery, Baker & Brewer, LO-Fi Brewing, Ship's Wheel Hard Cider, Charles Towne Fermentory, Rusty Bull Brewing Co., Revelry Brewing, Oak Road Brewery, Fam's Brewing Co., Two Blokes Brewing, Duck Donuts, and more will be on site.

The entire evening raises funds and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Tickets can be purchased online here.

The Brewer's Ball celebrates this year's class of Charleston’s Finest Honorees – outstanding professionals who are nominated for their exemplary leadership, active involvement in the community, and business excellence – and invited to participate in a three-month fundraising and awareness building campaign to help support innovative research towards a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. The CF Foundation is the world's leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis, and nearly every CF-specific drug available today was made possible with financial support from the Foundation.

Full disclosure - Holy City Sinner's Christian Senger was a Charleston's Finest (at the time called Charleston's Best & Brightest) honoree in 2016 and was a program mentor in 2017.
