On Thursday, November 21st, Handcraft Kitchen & Cocktails will host a meet and greet with Jura Master Distiller Gregg Glass, who will be pouring tastings of selections hailing from the remote West Coast Scotland island of Jura.
From 5 pm to 7 pm, Glass will be at Handcraft Kitchen & Cocktails in Mount Pleasant educating imbibers about the brand. Guests who bring in a bottle of purchased Jura Single Malt Whisky, retailing at local area Bottles stores, can have them signed by Glass.
Glass is well known internationally for his whisky expertise and has worked for more than ten years as a master whisky maker and blender. A hands-on whisky maker known for innovation and quality, Glass joined Jura parent company Whyte & Mackay in 2016. Before joining Whyte & Mackay, Glass helped whisky brand Compass Box grow from its early days to becoming the award-winning brand it is today.
