After a short break, the Holy City Vintage Market is back at the Park Cafe (730 Rutledge Ave.) on Sunday, December 1st from 9 am to 3 pm, the same day as the City of Charleston Christmas parade. Along with the rest of downtown, the market plans to get festive with hot Charleston Fogs, brunch, tarot card readings, vintage vinyl, vintage winter coats, sweaters, holiday party wear, holiday spirit, and more.
Featured vendors include Runaround Sue Vintage, Grease Kelly Vintage, fk vintage, Tinted Saga, Third Eye Vintage, Second Line Vintage, Threads Todisco, Reflections African Jewelry, Ancien. Vintage,
Frenchie Vintage, Malted Mutts, Haus of Hygiene, and Graveface Records.
“We want to help our regulars kick off the season right, making sure they’re dressed to kill for all of their December shindigs,” Kelly Rae Smith, Holy City Vintage Market founder and owner of Runaround Sue Vintage, said. “This is also when everyone starts thinking about that statement coat that will be their signature all season — not to mention this is the perfect time to snag a true vintage Christmas sweater or sparkly party piece.”
Holy City Vintage Market is also releasing a new line of merch: sweatshirts. Customers can win one by posting a pic of themselves on Instagram wearing something vintage, tagging @holycityvintagemarket, and hashtagging #whyIvintage along with a small statement of why they have chosen to shop vintage.
