Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre to host “Lights Up” on November 23rd

On Saturday, November 23rd, from 6 to 8 pm, Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre will host “Lights Up,” a family-friendly holiday celebration.

The event will be held in front of the Belk store and includes:

Laser light show
Lighting of a 40′ Christmas tree
Live performances
- East Cooper Baptist Church Choir & Orchestra and FAME Performing Arts
- Gravel Road
A visit from Santa
Treats and drinks from Wine Cellar Wine & Gifts, Burtons Grill, Savi Cucina + Wine Bar, LongHorn Steakhouse, Sweet Julep’s, Dave N Dubs Hot Dogs, Charleston Pops, Pure Fluff, Holy Rolly Charleston, Holy City Popcorn, The Cookie Chick, King of Pops, and James Brown’s Famous Boiled Peanuts

The event raises money for Camp Rise Above, whose mission is to provide life-changing camp experiences to children with serious illnesses, disabilities and challenges. Camp Rise Above creates customized programs that teach campers to overcome obstacles and grow in their confidence and capabilities. Camp Rise Above volunteers will be selling Christmas Tree Wands and Christmas Bulb Necklaces so all event guests can also Light Up!
