On Friday, November 15th, nearly 500 sailors from the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NPTC) at Joint Base Charleston will volunteer at Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum as part of the Trident United Way’s Day of Caring.
Work will begin at 12:15 pm and will include more than two-dozen projects on all three of warships, the Vietnam Experience, and landscaping around the museum’s property.
Those projects will include: aircraft and tour route cleaning, trash pickup, flight deck painting, museum dusting, nature trail trimming, and pressure washing.
