Brookgreen Gardens to Hold "A Seussical Day to Read and Play"

On Saturday, March 7th, Brookgreen Gardens will host “A Seussical Day to Read and Play” in honor of Read Across America Day, the annual nationwide event that takes place on Dr. Seuss’s Birthday.

Children and adults are encouraged to dress like their favorite characters from one of Seuss’s many books while they join together to read aloud stories that convey the appreciation of art, nature, and conservation as experienced at Brookgreen Gardens.

The day will end with a celebration of the magical Dr. Seuss, who’s legacy continues to live on through books, art, and travel. The event will run from 10 am to 2 pm at the Wall Lowcountry Center in Brookgreen Gardens (1931 Brookgreen Garden Dr, Murrells Inlet)
