The Charleston Friends of the Library March Book Sale is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 13th and Saturday, March 14th at the Otranto Regional Library. Attendees can browse through more than 10,000 gently used books, CDs, DVDs, and audio books at prices that can’t be beat - prices start at $1 for paperbacks and $4 for hardback books!
Items include mysteries, romances, classics, children’s books, local histories, cookbooks and a variety of non-fiction topics. Last year’s sale raised $9,000, and this year the Friends of the Library hope to exceed that amount. All proceeds raised at the book sale go directly to the Charleston County Public Library System. Admission is free
This year's schedule is as follows:
- Friday, March 13th
- 9 am - 5:30 pm
- Saturday, March 14th
- 9 am - 4 pm
- A special event for Friends of the Library members will be held at the branch, Thursday evening, March 12th from 5 pm - 7:30 pm
- Guests can join online at CharlestonLibraryFriends.org or at the door
