-Original Post Below-
Charleston Beer Week (CBW), now in its eight year, will be held from Friday, May 1st through Sunday, May 10th at participating venues throughout the greater Charleston area. This is the first year the event will be held in May.
This year’s celebration will feature over 60 curated events, spanning ten days. All events will eventually be posted to the official website http://charlestonbeerweek.com.
While local breweries and brewpubs will be a primary focus for the week, events will also feature many regional and national brands, making for a diverse lineup which will appeal to a broad audience.
The area now boasts about 30 production breweries and brewpubs, with additional breweries still in the works. You can see each of these breweries on this handy Google Map created by CBW organizers.
