Switching gears slightly from all the coronavirus talk…
One of Holy City Sinner’s readers reached out to ask if I could share with the rest of my readers that some area animal shelters in South Carolina are in need for fosters. Here’s what she had to say:
“South Carolina animal shelters and local rescue groups are in dire need in these frightening times. Many are desperate for foster care providers for rescued pets.
During this quarantine period, having a pet to care for could provide emotional and mental health benefits. Think of the opportunity to teach home-schoolers about caring for and providing for others too!
If you are interested in becoming a foster, I'm happy to refer you to a group near you – text me (Amy) at 202-906-0325. You can also contact me through these Facebook groups: Lost and Found Pets – Charleston County, SC and LOST&FOUND LOWCOUNTRY ITTYBITS of CHARLESTON-BERKELEY-DORCHESTER-COLLETON.
