Charleston Pour House Re-Opens Deck on Wednesday with New “PoHo-tocols”

The Charleston Pour House on James Island announced that they will re-open their deck Wednesday. To ensure that they remain safe and adhere to the guidelines set forth by the state, the venue has implemented what they are calling “PoHo-tocols.” Guests are asked to view the guidelines before going to the Pour House and to understand that these “PoHo-tocols” will be actively enforced until they are instructed otherwise. Here are new guidelines:

Please stay home if you're not feeling well
- No one with symptoms of COVID-19, including but not limited to, a fever, persistent cough, or shortness of breath are permitted to enter.
Keep your distance (at least 6 feet, please)
Cover up when you sneeze or cough – in general, that's simply good practice
Keep your hands to yourself
- No handshakes or high-fives.
Please keep your friend circle to 8 or less
- No more than 8 people in a party and your tables must remain 8 feet apart
- Kids are allowed, but they count as one of your eight, and must remain with you at your table at all times
Pick up after yourself as much as possible
- The Pour House says they have a full sanitizing procedure in place, but the less they touch, the better
Remain at your table unless nature calls or it's your turn to order a round
- Try to coordinate your trips to the bar. Send one person from your party to place your order
- Order at the bar in one of the designated service areas. Please remain at your table if the queue is full
They will be enforcing a time limit on tables when others are waiting
- They want everyone to have a shot at a table
Dogs are welcome and must remain leashed at all times
Although the Pour House hates single-use plastic, they can't do refills at this time – toss it when you kill it

The Pour House Hours will open at the following times (subject to change):

Wednesday/Thursday – 3 pm
Friday/Saturday – 12 pm
Sunday – 3 pm
