City of Charleston Says They Will Make Announcement Regarding Calhoun Statue Wednesday
Today, city of Charleston spokesman Jack O’Toole released the following statement in response to inquiries regarding the John C. Calhoun statue in Marion Square:
“Mayor Tecklenburg, City Council and City Legal staff have been working on this issue for some time, and expect to be able to make an announcement on the future of the statue tomorrow.”
