Worldwide, we're all spending more time than ever in our homes. And many of our houses have really become the unsung heroes of 2020 – multi-tasking to double as schools, office buildings, entertainment centers, and so much more.
The team at New Leaf Builders thinks it's time to celebrate these heroic homes where we've sought sanctuary and made memories these many months.
That's why they've created the Where Do You Love campaign; to invite friends and neighbors throughout the Lowcountry to share with others the moments they love in their homes (no matter who built them!).
“These past few months have had a profound impact on people's lives,” said Adam Baslow, a partner in the Johns Island-based New Leaf. “We think this is a great time to re-focus on the positives in our lives. Show the world that pillow fort in your FROG, that container garden on your back patio, or the gourmet dish you've learned to whip up. This campaign is all about celebrating the memories we make while we live our real lives.”
The campaign will be conducted on Facebook and Instagram, and any adult 18 or over can participate. Just take a photo of the place you love most within the place you live. Post it to your own feeds with two hashtags: #WhereDoYouLoveCHS and #NewLeafBuilds.
The more you post, hashtag and share, the more chances you have to win the prize package – a luxury staycation in a fully equipped home within the Kiawah River community on Johns Island. Staycation weekend for six will feature a refrigerator fully stocked by STEW, a private chef-made and wine-accompanied dinner one evening, fire pit complete with s'mores gear and a Coastal Expeditions kayak tour.
A committee of company and community representatives will select winners, who will be chosen based on the heartfelt messages within their post(s) and the number of shares/comments they elicited.
