The Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) on Monday announced that a second staff member at the Mt. Pleasant Regional Library has tested positive for COVID-19. On December 19th, CCPL announced the first staff member's positive test.Per CCPL's response protocols, the library is currently closed to allow for cleaning and sanitation by a certified third-party contractor. It is expected to reopen on Monday, December 28th. The book drop/return at the library is also closed during this time.
All employees known to have come into contact with this individual are being notified and self-quarantine guidelines are being followed.
