On Saturday, March 13th, Charleston County EMS (CCEMS) took home first place at the South Carolina EMS Symposium in Myrtle Beach. Brandon Darby and Michael Bisnett won a regional competition earlier this year that qualified them for the state championship.
Darby and Bisnett competed against four other teams from across the state in a competition that consisted of treating a patient with complicated life-threatening conditions.
“This award is well-deserved,” said David Abrams, Charleston County EMS Director. “Brandon and Michael have devoted their careers to advancing EMS and pre-hospital care, and their hard work makes us very proud.”
