For Hollingsworth, the new collection of 2021 works depicts still lives of animals juxtaposed with everyday objects. Known for her dreamlike arrangements of subject matter, Hollingsworth carefully selects her subjects to “speak” to one another, and to the viewer, in unique and unusual ways.
“I love to create paintings that evoke a sense of the familiar,” Hollingsworth said. “My goal is to blend the common objects of everyday life.”
