Ma'am Saab, the Pakistani restaurant currently located inside Workshop, on Wednesday announced that they will be opening their own standalone restaurant inside the former home of Jestine's Kitchen at 251 Meeting Street.
"We are humbled to carry the torch forward and continue the legacy of a woman-owned business that pays homage to one’s roots," owner and chef Maryam Ghaznavi and her husband Raheel wrote on Facebook. "As Jestine’s Kitchen departs into the sunset with her down-to-earth southern comfort food, we are elated to bring you a different dimension of comfort food: Authentic Pakistani Comfort and Street Food Down South."
Jestine's Kitchen announced its closure in June of 2020.
